Craft Consortium, The Emporium, ATC Coins

If you saw yesterday's post you will know that I made a mini storage crate using the new
'The Emporium' release (sold by Craft Consortium).

This is Part 2 of that project...    3 ATC coins that fit inside with plenty of room to spare!

Here's a close up of each coin in turn...

...  plus a look at Part 1 (the storage crate) if you missed it yesterday!

Huge thanks for stopping by!

Craft Consortium, The Emporium, Mini Storage Crate

The Emporium (by Craft Consortium) boasts a bountiful collection of beautiful papers and very large wooden bugs, as well as two clear stamp sets, 3 washi tapes, large metal beetle charms and coordinating enamel dots.

I've managed to use a little bit of everything on this 'two part' project.

Here's Part 1...

...  and below includes a sneaky peak of Part 2 that I'll share with you tomorrow!

This mini storage crate would be perfect for storing your washi tapes in, too!

Head on over to Craft Consortium or click HERE to see the full range for yourself.

Craft Consortium, It's Snome Time, Christmas Organiser

If you have seen the 'It's Snome Time' range that Craft Consortium has just released you will know it has heaps to choose from!

...  And heaps of stuff means heaps of cards and tags, right?

Here's my idea on how to get organised.
It could even be given as a gift in itself?

Do you like my idea of a Christmas Organiser?
It even has elastic string attached so that nothing can fall out!

Remove the straps (they slide behind).
Open it up...

...  And you'll see a handy paperclip, plus three charms and some string to tie up your parcels!

Here's a view of the whole organiser...

...  And this is what the inside looks like when empty!

Some 'quick to make' card ideas that you can add bling to or leave just as they are...

A close up of where the tags go...

(The toppers make great quick tags, too)!

...  And one more close up of the inside to finish!

Sorry it's such a 'photo heavy' post!

(This organiser was made using a Sizzix 'Journal' XL Scoreboard die.   Don't fret if you don't have one...  this is just a basic idea that you can hopefully adapt to suit your supplies).

Have a good day!

Craft Consortium, Winter Woodland, Don't Worry Be Happy Keepsake Journal

I'm using papers and toppers from the gorgeous Winter Woodland collection in combination with the 'Vintage Emporium' Essential Craft Papers for today's Craft Consortium project...

A 'Don't Worry Be Happy' journal  - with a difference.

Every page has a pocket or an envelope on one side to store away a mini memento.

And on the other side it's been left blank so you can glue in bigger pieces if you so wish.

Hope you like it!

I won't show you every page on the inside, but here's a few - just to give you an idea...

Cherish The Memory, Wrapped Journal, Ephemera...

Cherish The Memory sells some of the prettiest ephemera and background papers - just take a look for yourself and you'll soon see what I mean.

And sometimes it's nice to get lots of those pretty papers and ephemera and little accent pieces and just layer them all up into a beautiful montage...

But I'm not doing that today!

Instead, I'm sharing an idea with you that doesn't use a lot, but it does show that with just a few carefully chosen pieces combined with dies from your stash you can make something truly special - whether it's a gift for yourself or for someone else...

Not only is this beautiful (I made it for me so I admit I am truly biased) - it's practical, too.

This is where I will store my bits and pieces so that they don't get lost or torn.
(FYI - The pages are made from passport protector covers)!

Craft Consortium, Winter Woodland, Decoupage + Squirrel Clock Face

Good morning, everyone!
It's another cold and frosty one here in the UK, and as anyone who knows me can tell you - I am no fan of the cold.

So I've turned things around for this project today using just one topper from Craft Consortium's Winter Woodland collection - just because it says Winter doesn't mean that's all you have to use it for!

But if you don't like squirrels you should look away 'round about...  now!

For those of you that do love them, however...
Isn't this just the sweetest topper ever?

And such a good size, too.

Such a cutie deserved pride of place on my project for today, so I placed it slap bang in the middle of this clock face.

And why not?

Take a look 'round the back...

See, it has an easel backing that folds flat - which means that this could easily be given instead of a card.
Just attach a label and write 'Happy Birthday' on it or something...

I don't get 'cards' like this...
so maybe I should squirrel this one away (tee hee) and keep it for myself?

What do you think?

As always, I've attached my decoupage papers using spray adhesive.

Here's a closer look at the bottom layer...

Can you see how I scrumpled up that clock face Decoupage paper to get that crackle effect?

I also smeared brown ink all over the front, left it for a minute or two and then wiped it all off.
Why?

Because the ink seeps into the creases and tones down the shine.
I'm a muted kind of shine girl by nature, you know!

Want to see some more inspiration?

Tune in to Create and Craft TV (11am UK time) today.
That's 29th November, 2017.
I'm pretty sure I've even heard that there's a sale on!
(If you are reading this at a later date - sorry, you've missed it)!

But maybe next time...
