Craft Consortium, At Home In The Wildflowers, String in a Jar

The simplest of ideas are sometimes all we really have time for...

But that doesn't mean they can't be pretty!

So I'm stopping by with a quick post today that uses a much loved new release from Craft Consortium called
'At Home In The Wildflowers'.

Simply remove any existing labels and decorate with a strip of beautiful paper and a topper to match!

Here's a before photo using the same style jar and different string...

I hope the idea proves useful!

Craft Consortium, At Home In The Wildflowers, Hanging Bird House

At Home In The Wildflowers is here!

A beautiful new release by the talented Katie Putt...

There are generously sized extra toppers that you'll find inside both the front and back covers as well as gorgeous floral elements on the papers themselves...

You'll find three blackbird toppers to help showcase your designs...   and he features on some of the pages, too!

This new release works so well with the Essential Craft Papers - Wood Textures...

Craft Consortium, Over The Hedge, Notepad And Pen Set.

I have the simplest of gift ideas to share with you today...

All you need is a kraft covered notebook and a cardboard pen.

I've used my favourite paper from the 'Over The Hedge' premium paper pad.
Do you have a favourite page?

Simply tear top and bottom, brush on a thin layer of wet glue and weight it down until it is dry...

If you have the time, why not add to this basic idea?

The 'Over The Hedge' collection also includes toppers, stamps and wooden printed embellishments so you are sure to find something to add if you want to...

You could even make an organiser for it to go in?

(See previous project HERE).

Want to see the other designs available in this paper pad?

Click HERE for a few more samples.

Sold by Craft Consortium...   and all good craft shops!

Enjoy your day...

Craft Consortium Pencil/Storage Pot

For those of you who 'do' Valentine's Day...  the day is fast approaching!

Are you the romantic hearts and flowers type or not, I wonder?

Well, for those of us that aren't I've come up with an alternative solution.
And it doesn't take too long to make or require too many Craft Consortium materials.
And some of them are still for sale...  so just maybe this'll tempt you enough to go take a look before all the bargains are gone.
(I'll include some links near the end of this post).

I know it's 'only' a pencil pot...  but what do you think?

Of course, it doesn't have to be just for pencils now, does it?
I know for a fact that I've got plenty of craft tools that would be very at home in this little pot of mine!

Who would have thought that this started off as an 'off cut' from a cardboard flue - left lying on the garage floor after my boiler had to be replaced?

Craft Consortium supplies used:

Decoupage Paper
Walcot

Always & Forever

Santoro - Kori Kumi
(Out of Stock, but any small heart embossing folder should work equally well.  Use Mirri card, then gently sand on diagonals to get this kind of effect).

(I simply painted over one of these with a few layers of white acrylic paint).

Wherever you are, wishing you a happy and safe weekend...
