Christmas Tag, Holly and Berry, A Gift From Me To You

This tag was made to play along with Day 1 of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags...

It's very green, isn't it?

But then so is the tag it was inspired by...

As you can see, I've kept quite faithfully to the colour scheme on this one.  I've also included the holly and berries...  and the rick rack element and black text.

I've managed to make a tag (or two or three) for every day of this event so far...  I'm just woefully behind on posting them, so my posts will be short for the foreseeable future.

Christmas Tag, Lantern, Poinsettia

It's such a pretty tag, isn't it?

I've focused on every detail I could manage to include this time - the poinsettia, the green foliage, the candle, colour scheme, natural twine...  everything except that scribble which I've switched out for a spot of acetate embossing.

This is far more in keeping with the look of Pam's tag, isn't it?

Large Tag, Poinsettia, Merry Christmas

I'm playing along with Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

Here's my first tag for Day 1...

As it's a super duper large tag I've added a pocket to the back of it and turned it into a gift card tag!

My inspiration is based on this beauty by my very lovely friend, Pam Simpson...

I've taken the poinsettia with stitching detail, that tiny hint of green and the natural twine as my starting points, but as I completely missed the white 'softness' and those candles I did a retake which you can see in my next post.

That's the problem with having such a pretty tag to be inspired by.
