Large Tag, Poinsettia, Merry Christmas

I'm playing along with Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.

Here's my first tag for Day 1...

As it's a super duper large tag I've added a pocket to the back of it and turned it into a gift card tag!

My inspiration is based on this beauty by my very lovely friend, Pam Simpson...

(Thank you, Pam). x

I've taken the poinsettia with stitching detail, that tiny hint of green and the natural twine as my starting points, but as I completely missed the white 'softness' and those candles I did a retake which you can see in my next post.
That's the problem with having such a pretty tag to be inspired by.
So much to choose from...

Supplies Used:

Mama Elephant 'Tags A Lot'
Poppystamps 'Stitched Poinsettia'
Poppystamps 'Free Hand Merry Christmas'

Ranger/Tim Holtz 'Black Soot'

Mulberry Paper - Cream
Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen 'Clear Overlay'
Enamel Dots - Red
Tiny Gems - Clear
Natural Twine

Thanks for stopping by...

Donna. x

    1. Your tag is gorgeous... so many beautiful ideas packed into one small space :)
Have been keeping really busy. It helps to a degree.
Catch up soon. Facebook tomorrow, then blogs. Took 3 hours to catch up on Instagram this evening.

  3. Love your gift card tag Donna. So clever to make it into a gift card holder. Your rustic version of Pam's tag is beautiful. xx
