Christmas Tag, Winter Cabin, Decorative

Another ornamental tag for Day 6 of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Hope you like it...

This is one of my all time favourite little dies.  It does most of the work for you!

I based my design and colour scheme around Kittie's gorgeous tag.
(See below).
She was one of the first people I started stalking in blog land!
(Love your style, Kittie). x

Supplies Used:

Dies:
Die-Versions (Sweet Petites) 'House and Trees'
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Circles
Memory Box 'Star of Wonder'

Punch:
Martha Stewart/Punch All Over 'Aspen Flurry'

Other:
Acetate - rescued from craft packaging (my favourite kind)
Cord

If you are brave enough to consider gluing on to acetate, use the smallest amount of glue you can possibly get away with as it will squish everywhere and make a horrible mess.  I use Collall Tacky glue.  You can scrap this stuff off if you find you have accidental glue marks in places.  Not sure if it still scrapes off when completely dry.  Trial and error, I'm afraid.

I did marry up the dies on the back of this tag, too.  Covers up the glue marks that way :)

Thanks again for your patience in reading through my backlog of quick posts.

Have a great day...

Donna. x

  1. Squishy glue? Who needs THAT! I'm staying away from the acetate and the glue! LOVE what you created though. It's fantastic.

  3. I'm combining my comment here for your last two FABULOUS tags! Donna, I adore these made with acetate... gorgeous, I'm telling you!!! [I used a tiny bit of Tombow clear glue, so even if it squishes, it is too horrid to see!]
