Craft Consortium Winter/Christmas Design, 'Winter Woodland Deer'...

I don't stamp very often - and when I do I tend to favour simple designs.

Add just a touch of colour using Distress Inks, water and a paintbrush - then add a few layers of  varnish (I use the kind you can buy as a spray) to waterproof and protect.

That's my style of stamping right now.

But I just couldn't resist having a little playtime with this sweet set of stamps.

Isn't that deer just the cutest?

If you look closely you should hopefully see that I've 'grounded' this little cutie using just a touch of grey ink.

I've also cut and layered up the images to help add some definition.

Here's a list of supplies used...

Apologies for what seems like a long absence.

Some of you may know that I have what's known as 'Histamine Intolerance'...

It would seem that trialling an apple a day for a month or so is not a good thing for me.

They are most definitely on my 'no' list from now on!

Huge thanks for stopping by today.

  1. Aww you should stamp more often Donna, this is delightful. The bow and that adorable little acorn are a great finishing touch. I do like that grey card you've used, its different and very stylish. Apart from the apples not working I hope you're OK, take care x

    1. Thank you so much, Claire. 🙂
I’m making the most of this lovely weather we’ve been having. It’s been lovely to feel pleasantly warm instead of too cold - which is my normal default setting!
You getting out and tending to your garden at all?
      Hugs. 💕
