Craft Consortium, Happy Haunting, 'Owls' Halloween Decoration

Helz Cuppleditch brings you 'Happy Haunting'  in her latest release that's partnered with Craft Consortium.

If you have already seen the 6x6 papers I am using you will know that I've opted to use two owls from the additional toppers as the basis of today's project.  They are quirky, cute and fun all rolled into one!

Here's a few more photo's...

I do hope you've enjoyed seeing my mini owl shadow box project.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by...

Craft Consortium, The Nativity, Storage Pot/Pencil Holder

I've taken a 'lateral thinking' move with today's post as I'm thinking ahead to Christmas with an idea that can still be used beyond the day itself...

I've used 6x6 papers and charms from the Craft Consortium 'Nativity' collection to create a 'gift pot' - the type used for sweets and chocolate that then gets wrapped in cellophane with a pretty big bow tied around the top.  Once empty, rather than throwing it out it can be reused as a pencil holder or a storage pot.

To create this idea I've mixed up the toppers just a little bit and created a scene that shows what could pass for a little angel showing her soft toy bunny rabbit to a cat!

Do you think it works?

This started off as the inner sections of two large empty tape rolls, glued together and wrapped in cereal box card.

Simply draw around the outside of the tubes several times, cut out and glue together to create a base.

Then sand off any rough edges before painting and decorating...

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

It's always appreciated...

Craft Consortium, Noel, 'Open Window' Christmas Card

I've created a 'subtle scene' Christmas card today that's just perfect for those who don't like anything too fussy...

The scene itself is made from Craft Consortium's 'Noel' release 6x6 papers and a wooden topper, with just a few snowflake (punch cut) embellishments using their gorgeous silver non-shedding glitter card.

The Essentials 12x12 'Metal Textures' paper collection was used for the frame itself.

Bells tied in the corner also part of the 'Noel' release.

Craft Consortium, Noel, Christmas Lantern Table Decorations

Do you need a quick table decoration idea for your Christmas festivities?

The papers, charms and embellishments used here are all from the 'Noel' collection by Craft Consortium.  (Size of papers used: 6x6), except for the handles (Metal Textures) and punch cut snowflakes (non shedding silver glitter card).

As you can see they make very simple, but very effective table decorations - especially if you can get hold of some colour changing tea lights!
