Craft Consortium, Bluebells And Buttercups, Nursery Picture (Framed)

 Keeping it simple!

This framed Nursery Inspired scene uses just one of the many gorgeous additional toppers you will find in the new 12x12 paper pad from Craft Consortium.  Entitled 'Bluebells and Buttercups' it's just perfect for all who adore cute imagery...

I've simply layered two complimentary papers as the background, cut out one extra bee and added an internal tree branch frame (own stash) before framing it in a simple soft white colour.  The building blocks are also from my own personal stash.

(Please feel free to get in touch if you need to know who makes these).

Here's just one more photo of the cute little critter who's been inspiring my Nursery themed projects...

Many thanks (as always) for stopping by...

Craft Consortium, The Nativity, Christmas Table Decorations

I'm back today to share an idea for some home made Christmas table decorations.

These were made using Craft Consortium's super cute Nativity collection by Helz Cuppleditch.

As you can see there are some very sweet images here.

Don't forget to add these star charms to your shopping list as they are a perfect year-round crafting accessory!

Craft Consortium, The Nativity, Storage Pot/Pencil Holder

I've taken a 'lateral thinking' move with today's post as I'm thinking ahead to Christmas with an idea that can still be used beyond the day itself...

I've used 6x6 papers and charms from the Craft Consortium 'Nativity' collection to create a 'gift pot' - the type used for sweets and chocolate that then gets wrapped in cellophane with a pretty big bow tied around the top.  Once empty, rather than throwing it out it can be reused as a pencil holder or a storage pot.

To create this idea I've mixed up the toppers just a little bit and created a scene that shows what could pass for a little angel showing her soft toy bunny rabbit to a cat!

Do you think it works?

This started off as the inner sections of two large empty tape rolls, glued together and wrapped in cereal box card.

Simply draw around the outside of the tubes several times, cut out and glue together to create a base.

Then sand off any rough edges before painting and decorating...

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

It's always appreciated...
