Craft Consortium, Bluebells And Buttercups, Gift Bag With Matching Tag Set

I've taken just one 12x12 page from the new Bluebells And Buttercups collection to create this delightful little gift bag and matching tag set...

Here's just a quick peep at the decorative inside of the bag , which depicts cute picnic baskets filled with delicious cakes...

A side view shows how the Nature theme continues with a bird peeping out of its nest...

And the back shows a fun loving critter...

This was very easy to make.  Just add a touch of ink to the sky and a few well placed additional toppers...

I always appreciate you stopping by...

Craft Consortium, Bluebells And Buttercups, Nursery Picture (Framed)

 Keeping it simple!

This framed Nursery Inspired scene uses just one of the many gorgeous additional toppers you will find in the new 12x12 paper pad from Craft Consortium.  Entitled 'Bluebells and Buttercups' it's just perfect for all who adore cute imagery...

*

I've simply layered two complimentary papers as the background, cut out one extra bee and added an internal tree branch frame (own stash) before framing it in a simple soft white colour.  The building blocks are also from my own personal stash.

(Please feel free to get in touch if you need to know who makes these).

Here's just one more photo of the cute little critter who's been inspiring my Nursery themed projects...

Many thanks (as always) for stopping by...

Craft Consortium, Bluebells and Buttercups, All Aboard The Animal Train

It's 'all aboard the Animal Train' with Helz's latest release, which is as super cute for Easter crafts as it is for all things baby related!

*

As you can see, I've taken a small wooden train set and given it a nursery style 'home décor' makeover using a mix of wooden toppers and additional toppers that you will find in the 12x12 set of papers.

This is the first of a few baby themed posts that I'll be sharing with you over the next week or so.

Why not tune in tomorrow - 4.30pm (GMT) on the Create and Craft Channel to see the full range for yourself?

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Craft Consortium, Tell The Bees (Special Edition), Mini Album (Part 1)

Hello everyone!

Tell The Bees (Special Edition) has its official launch day today!

See it HERE over at Craft Consortium...

As it's a first for the company I wanted to celebrate by making a 6x6 mini album that holds 6 pages full of flaps, folds, pockets and envelopes, but rather than have a substantially 'photo heavy' post I've chosen to break this down into a post per page.

Before that however, there's a front cover...

As you can see, I've included papers from the Ink Drops collections as well as the decorative circle from the Dienamix 'Live Laugh Love' cutting dies.

This stamped on tissue paper and pasted on bee that you can partially see echos an element you will notice on several pages of the album...

And here is my bee charm...  no longer gold but painted with acrylics to give it a worn, aged look.

Thank you for stopping by!

Part 2 coming soon...

Craft Consortium, Woodland/Ink Drops, Mini Cards And Envelope Set

I've created a 'mini cards and envelope set' using some of the most adorable illustrations from Craft Consortium's 'Woodland' collection...  and paired them up using envelopes from their Essential Craft Papers range called Ink Drops/Vivid.

Sometimes a mini card is all you need!

In case you were wondering, the holder has been covered using the Essential Craft Papers 'Metal Textures' collection...  I just love the way it works so well with those vivid ink drop colours.

Stay warm!

Craft Consortium, Ink Drops, Christmas Box

I've stepped way out of my colour palette 'comfort zone' today to bring you a design that has, at its base, the most beautiful of new papers from Craft Consortium...

Simply entitled 'Ink Drops', these papers come in their usual 6x6 or 12x12 format and are available in two colour tones - Vivid and Dusk.

My design here today takes two papers from the Dusk/Ink Drop collection and pairs them alongside some Metal Textures paper elements, plus a deer that's actually from the Vintage Emporium collection (I've used a white acrylic paint whitewash to mute the colour so that only a hint of the text comes through)...  all on the pinkest of pink shiny boxes!

If you haven't had a chance to view the new Ink Drops papers I wholeheartedly suggest you head on over for a quick look here.

They really are very pretty indeed!

Hope you are keeping safe and well.

I'm in my usual 'I hate Winter' mode!

Craft Consortium, Woodland, Junk Journal/Scrapbook

My project today features just a few of the many papers, toppers and charms you will find in the new Woodland collection - designed by Clare Therese in conjunction with Craft Consortium.

I'm not sure whether to call this a 'junk journal' or a scrapbook as it really combines both ideas...

The inner pockets and front cover also include a piece of paper from the Essentials/Dark Grunge collection...

And the pages themselves?

Cut from my vast supply of brown paper packaging.

You may notice that the tree topper has a distressed look to it.  This is easily achievable with just a light sanding.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Don't forget the project launch is due today on the Create and Craft Channel at 12 noon (GMT)!

Craft Consortium, Festive Flora, Hanging Wreath

If you have had a chance to view the Festive Flora Essentials paper pad by Craft Consortium you will know that there are two pages hidden within the pad that are jam packed full of gorgeous Christmas foliage and flower toppers.

I've used the 12x2 paper pad for this project, fussy cut the toppers I wanted to use and then added them to a basic wreath shape prior to attaching to this hanging base.

A few touches of Texture Paste, Glossy Accents and Stickles, plus the cut out sentiment and a hanging cord and this project is complete.

The base wood effect paper is from one of my favourites -  a 12x12 paper pad in the 'Essentials' range called 'Wood Textures'.

Craft Consortium, Happy Haunting, Mini Halloween Cards

Just stopping by with some quick and easy ideas for mini Halloween cards.

These all measure 9x9cm so they are the perfect size for using up some of those left over scraps of paper from your other Happy Haunting projects.

As you'll see from the 'close up' photo's below, there are so many ways to use up those scraps!

Don't forget to share your Craft Consortium makes with us over on Instagram using either  #craftconsortium or #ccmakes...   or head on over to our Craft Consortium Network page.

Craft Consortium, The Nativity, Christmas Stockings

Hello, everyone.

Hope you are keeping well?

It's already getting a little too chilly for me!

*

I've been in my craft room this week working on these Christmas stockings...

The background papers that create the actual stocking are all from the Essentials Grunge - Dark Tones 12 x 12 paper collection and the decorations are from The Nativity...  an incredibly sweet set of images, papers, stamps, wooden ephemera, 3D decoupage, star embellishments and charms all designed by Helz Cuppleditch in collaboration with Craft Consortium.

Here are a few close up shots...

As you can see, I've added smidges of ink and gilding wax...  as well as embossing in parts.

*

(Click HERE) to see the complete Nativity collection for yourselves.

As these stockings are 3D, they are multipurpose little makes that can be used as pictured or as a card topper with a gift card or little note tucked inside perhaps?

Have a great day...

Craft Consortium, Noel, Distressed Christmas Card

I'm taking a break from all things Halloween to share a Distressed Christmas card with you all...

This card was made using two papers from Craft Consortium's 6x6 Noel collection,  plus one additional topper and a wreath metal charm.

(Additional elements include some torn paper from the Grunge - Dark Tones collection and White Elegant Satin Ribbon from the Always & Forever collection, plus some kraft card, twine, silver Stickles and stamps from my own personal stash).

I hope your own Christmas plans are going well.

How many Christmas cards have you made so far, I wonder?

Craft Consortium, Happy Haunting, Halloween Shaker Box

I'm using a mini shaker box die today to create a two-way display piece using Craft Consortium's fabulously cute 'Happy Haunting' collection.

As you can see it can be displayed like this...

 or like this..

I've used a mixture of wooden embellishments and additional toppers from the 6x6 paper pad for this design...  plus a witches hat metal charm on the outside and a grave stone within!

If you have any questions about how this was made or what else was used, please feel free to get in touch.

Thanks heaps for stopping by...
