Craft Consortium, Little Fawn and Friends, Best of Friends

If you succumbed to the beauty of the Little Fawn and Friends set for yourself  (scroll on down for the links if you aren't sure what I'm talking about)...  and IF you've cut into it and started using it yet...

...  then you'll soon see that you have lots of pretty little pieces of paper left over.

That's just what happens!

So today's post shares the last of my 'mini makes' with a quick idea on how to use up some of those little bits of paper...

As you can see, it also gives you a chance to use up some of those pretty bits of ribbon and twine you may have lying around!

If you look closely at the background you should see that I've even managed to find another way of using those tiny leaves that are part of one of the stamp sets.
I've used Distress Embossing Powder with them as it gives a worn, weathered and muted look - which is just what I was after.

I've also mirror stamped the rodent, which has had a coat of varnish on after a touch of
water colouring!

Here's a list of the supplies used:

It had to be done!

What better way to remind you all that today is the day you can go directly to

than to pair this little guy with that giant pine cone?

After all, you've seen his outstretched little arms quite a few times this week already and not once did it look like he'd actually caught anything!

Please head on over to the shop link (above) to see the full release for yourself...  if you haven't had a chance to, already.

Craft Consortium, Little Fawn and Friends, Squirrel Snow Globe

My lovely little squirrel friend is back with his outstretched paws in todays mini make...   a snow globe scene using one of the designs from the premium paper pad collection as a setting for falling leaves...

Yes, those little leaves are stamps that are included as part of the Little Fawn and Friends release.

In fact, there are two stamp sets to choose from!

I've also included one of the pine cone metal charms...  and if you look at those corners yet another sneak peek of one of the designs from the new paper pad range that will be coming soon.

This release will be available to buy from Craft Consortium as of tomorrow.

Craft Consortium, Little Fawn and Friends, Christmas Gate

As the 29th September, 2018 fast approaches (the day you can go online and buy Little Fawn and Friends from Craft Consortium), I thought I should stop by with another of my 'mini makes'...

This one features two adorable hedgehogs and a rodent that I've mirror stamped as I wanted it to be reversed for this project.

It also features yet another colour that I'm sharing with you from the recently expanded non-shedding glitter card collection...

...  and another sneak peak at one of the new backing papers from 1 of 4 new collections coming soon.

Little Fawn and Friends really is the sweetest of collections to work with.

Thanks for stopping by...

Craft Consortium, Little Fawn and Friends, Squirrel Shaker Card

If you saw my post yesterday you will know that my mini card featured a much paler, much grayer squirrel stretching out to reach a pine cone...

Well, today's little cutie isn't doing that at all.

He's far more interested in trying to catch a falling leaf...  or perhaps a snowflake or two!

This is a shaker style card that uses a piece of patterned paper from the Little Fawn and Friends premium paper pad in the background.

I've stamped and fussy cut leaves as well as water colouring them - and squirrel too, of course!

And once again I'm sharing one of the newest colours from the A4 non shedding glitter card collection - as well as varying sizes of gems.

And that wood effect backing paper?

One of four in a brand new product line - which has plans for expansion with even more new designs coming soon.

(But more on that later as this is a very early sneak peek you are getting)!
