Wooden Door, Christmas Wreath, Tag

My tag for Day 12 of Tracey's 25daysofchristmastags2017 uses a die that I've had in my collection for a few years now...

...  and guess how many times I've used it before today?

Zip.  Zero.  Zilch.

So I couldn't help but be inspired by a certain set of tags when it came to choosing my inspiration for today.

Let me show you...

Here's my tag...

---  and here's the inspiration...

Yes, my door does open too...

I'm wondering if there's enough space behind it to hide a gift card?

I'll have to investigate when I've got more time!

Only fourteen tags to go!

Donna. x

  1. What a superb little door you have created. The woodgraining looks so real. Hugs Mrs A.

  2. Donna, you can't imagine my delight when your door tag ended up on my list of blogs to visit today... well, you already know how much I love the door - I've shown you mine in the early light of - wait! the sun hadn't even risen yet! I had no idea how clever it was to OPEN!!! LOve, love, LOVE your tag! you're telling me this door is a die?

    1. An old MB or Poppystamps die... I forget which, but can certainly find out if you want to play 'let's find the long discontinued die hunt' game. You never know whether you will be a winner or not when you go hunting for old dies!!!
Combined it with Altenew Woodgrain paper and layered it up.
Then created my own back panel as all these inner bits are loose.

  3. Oh I love this Donna. That wooden door looks fab. Barbxx

  4. About time you used it then Donna! if you`ve had it so long!!! looks fantastic too your door, I have it you not sure if its MB or PS without looking, love the use of woodgrain paper..and pretty wreath.
    Hugs Pam x

    1. You really want to go there, Pam?
I know I still have dies in my stash I haven't used once yet... I could point each of them out per A4 magnetic page, too.
      What about you?
      I have my suspicions!!!

  5. Love the deep grain effect, lovely! Jo x

  6. Such a sweet tag, Donna!! LOVE your little woodgrain door with its wreath and holly!! :)
