It pays to be a frugal crafter when it comes to saving scraps of paper, doesn't it?
After all, if you save the pennies 'here' you can spend them 'there'...
But do you ever look at your tiny scraps collection and wonder just what on earth you are going to do with them all?
If the answer is 'yes', maybe this idea will help...
As you can see, it's a quick and easy make...
One topper, four same sized rectangles cut out from one design, one slightly larger rectangle cut from another, a sentiment, twine and sequins - all backed on to an embossed piece of kraft card cut slightly smaller than the card base with just a hint of ink around the edges.
It doesn't get much easier than that!

Hello Donna, it's been ages. Hope you're well :) I love mix of Kraft, beautiful white meadow papers and the pop of pink... looks fab and it's a smashing card x
ReplyDeleteHi Claire. So lovely to hear from you. 🙂
DeleteI took as much of a break as I was able to with DT work. Never really gave myself the time to deal with what had happened with my daughter and it wasn’t working for me. Life doesn’t treat us all kindly... as I seem to remember you knowing yourself.
Looking forward to making more of what I want this year - whether that’s DT related or not!
Can’t stand making 8x8’s and hubby keeps asking for the blasted things for work!
Anyhow... hope you are doing ok?
Donna. X
Aww Donna, life can be very cruel at times and it does us good to step back and take a little time for ourselves and to 're-evaluate. I'm sending you a super big cyber (hug), look after yourself and its nice to see you back blogging your pretty creations again, chin up x
DeleteAnother wonderful card you have created Donna, hoe cute is that shrew.
ReplyDeleteHugs Pam x
